Description of Hard Anodizing:
Anodizing creates a controlled oxide film on the surface of aluminum. Hardcoat Anodizing, one of Anodizing, utilizes sulfuric acid, low bath temperatures, and high voltage to produce a very high surface hardness. Hardcoat Anodizing is used for those applications that need a corrosion, abrasion, and wear resistant coating and it is also a more expensive process than Chromic or Sulfuric anodizing. But you should notice that hardcoat anodizing is not always the best choice for every application.
